Bestselling author, Janelle Molony, talks with Tosha Rollins, fellow autism mom and podcaster. What started as a search for an outlet and community became a podcast series for this delightful #MomOnAMission (love that term!). We hash out topics of intentional motherhood and being confronted with the fears, limits, and bias we have… and those we didn’t know we had. Being an intentional autism parent means having faith to think beyond what is seen in the “now.” There is more to the story.
Molony reflects on what it was like to reveal some of the harder emotional experiences while writing her memoir, including the of loss of a job, community, and more when she chose to adopt David, her son with autism. While writing the book Un-Adoptable? Faith Beyond Foster Care, he partnered with his mother to make sure all aspects of the story were agreed upon and true to the best of their knowledge. This meant he’d hear some hard truths about many sacrifices parents must make when raising a child with special needs. To see what he thinks about the book, check out the video at the bottom of this post!
